Arnold did an amazing job repairing and finishing our bedroom closet. He paid close attention to all the details and was meticulous in ensuring the job was completed properly. Cornerstone also recently did electrical work outside our home in regard to repairing our lamp post as well as ground lighting in our yard. WOW, I’m so impressed with this deep clean! We hired Cornerstone to deep clean the new apartment we were moving into, and the before and after is just wild to me! Almost doesn’t look like the same place. Jason was our cleaning technician, and I was extremely impressed with how detailed he was in the bathroom! That bathroom is shiny clean now! Also, in the living room and bedroom, he not only vacuumed, but he washed and deodorized the carpet! It’s so clean now! It looks brand new! The kitchen came out incredible as well! We had 2 different repair jobs. A few weeks ago, Paul the electrician figured out the issue with our breaker tripping and updated our bathroom outlets to GFI outlets. So far, that breaker has not tripped. He also updated our garage lights to LEDs, and now it is so insanely bright in there. Had handymen Alex and Shane out today to fix our stair tread. It is an oak tread that was splitting, and they tightened it up and made sure the step is safe and secure without having to replace it. It looks good and feels safe now. We are very happy with the work and the customer service of all Cornerstone employees we dealt with, including the folks that set up appointments. Received texts when the workers were on their way, and everything was fully explained and quoted before any work began. Will call again.

Utilized Cornerstone for a few minor projects around the house while we were deciding to convert our heating system from oil to LP. During the first two encounters utilizing the services, we became very comfortable and a relationship of trust developed. This is why we decided to utilize Cornerstone for the conversion of the heating system to LP. My wife and I had several conversations with all the divisions that would be working on the project, which further cemented our decision to use Cornerstone. Every trade person was very professional and polite. Before we started the project, if we did not understand the process, they took the time to explain it so that we could understand. I feel the relationship developed into more a friendly family conversation instead of just a contractor doing a job. The project was scheduled while we were on vacation. The team had a week to pull out an old boiler, take down a wall, remove the oil tank, install the new heating and hot water system, rebuild the wall which the oil tank came out from behind, and relocate several other mechanical structures. During this time, the team kept us informed of any concerns and updated us even with a six-hour time difference; we did not want to arrive home to an unheated house in December. The job was completed. When we arrived back at home, the work was completed and cleaned spotlessly. The only way I can describe the new heating system is that it truly looks like art. The pride and professional workmanship really are on display. All divisions did a tremendous job. I will use Cornerstone for future projects because of the relationship that was established of trust and honesty, and I believe a fair price.

I found Cornerstone via recommendations from the local FB group and called them. Their customer service department works very efficiently. I had an appointment scheduled for the next week and they provided us with all the information about both the company and the appointment. John, the technician, showed up early in the scheduled window. He looked at the issue, wrote up an estimate on the spot, received my approval, and then identified and resolved the issue in a very timely manner. We also discussed future work at my request and I have quotes for that as well. This was a very good experience.

They are a tad pricey, but quality comes with a price. Traveling distance is also probably a factor. I'm not happy with the AI bot that answers the phone, but as I came to understand what to ask for, it transferred me to a human. It did, however, tell me that I had no such appointment scheduled. That was a bit unnerving. However, the humans that work there do a good job of communicating. They promptly return emails or text messages, and deliver what was promised.

Once he came upstairs and saw the thermostat, he told me that is your problem and why. He knew what the problem was before doing any diagnostic checks. The problem was the thermostat, and he installed a new one. After he installed the new thermostat, he explained to me how to change the settings on the thermostat. For about ten years, my wife and I have been trying to upgrade our doublewide. Our major frustrations, not in order, have been the following: trying to find a contractor that will work on these homes, nobody returning our calls, no-shows, shoddy workmanship (common), deceptive workmanship (installing a "new" central air-conditioner that had actually been in storage for years). The same company later tried to rip us off for a $3,000.00 repair after the warranty ran out (our neighbor helped reduce the price to about $200.00). Then we were introduced to CORNERSTONE SERVICES, and what a breath of fresh-air professionalism. We received notices and photo I.D.s of who and when they would show, and how we could save some money if a differing method was used. The crew did excellent work and were dressed properly for the job. CORNERSTONE SERVICES set us up with a legitimate loan company. They cleaned up after their work was completed. They will be invited back to paint all the ceilings and lay down new flooring. Nothing is perfect, though; my only peeve was the A.I. answering service. It took me a while to realize I was not dealing with a human but some relative of a HAL-9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey. I'm sure that he/she will be improved over time.

I hired Cornerstone Services, handyman division, to replace some damaged sheetrock I had around my garage doors. Alexander arrived on time and quickly assessed the problem area. He discussed a few options on what to use instead of sheetrock, came up with quotes, and told me he could complete the job the same day. We ultimately agreed on his suggestion of using vinyl boards to replace the sheetrock so we wouldn’t have a future issue with water damage. Alex picked up the supplies he needed and got to work. By late afternoon the work was completed and looked amazing!! I thought the price was fair and Alex was wonderful; he took care of our home as if it were his own. On time, professional, tidy, and fair pricing, what more could I ask for? I will seriously consider joining the membership so all of our home needs can be met by one company. Thanks again!

I had an intermittent flickering light problem going on for the last few months. Ironic, since everything from the panel to the meter to the box it's mounted on to the wires to the roof is all within 5 years old. It looked like a rat's nest was sitting atop my electrical panel that Tom found. He methodically went through and tried to find any bit through wires or damaged wires, which were tough to access in the ceiling of my garage, but he worked through as much as he could and found some possible problems. Of course, the lights flickering wasn't happening while he was there, which is just annoying, but he did his due diligence and tracked as much as he could down in the hours he spent. Also very personable and easy to talk to and very descriptive in what he was doing. Much appreciated that.

Ron and Paul spent two days cleaning air ducts and putting in a second heating zone. They worked well together. I was very nervous about the huge equipment to clean the air ducts because we just refinished our hardwood floors and I didn’t want them scratched up. They assured me there would be no damage and there wasn’t. Everything was clean before they left. I would highly recommend using Cornerstone.

Used Cornerstone Services today to replace all of our old smoke detectors. They showed up even earlier than they said they were going to be here. They were very good at explaining all they needed to do and what the cost would be before starting. Considerate of keeping everything in the house clean, even wore coverings over their boots. Cornerstone Services LLC is great! I called a few places for duct cleaning and exhaust fan replacement, and they were terrific! They came in 1–2 days and assessed everything. They returned quickly and completed the duct cleaning efficiently and thoroughly. They evaluated the exhaust fan and determined that it needed to be replaced. The exhaust fan was ordered and arrived in 3–4 days, and they came the next day to install it. All the technicians—Paul, Izzy, Tom, Brandon, and Ron—were professional and explained things completely (and with pictures!). It was about 2½ weeks from first contact to completion of the job; no other company could even come and look at the job for 4 weeks. Highly recommended!

Tyler did a fantastic job explaining all of my options after my air conditioning suddenly stopped working. There are a lot of technical terms in the industry, but he simplified everything while showing me what was wrong. It never seemed like he was only there to sell me something. I was presented several options at various price points, and he didn't pressure me into choosing the most expensive one or making a quick decision like other contractors have done in the past. When you call a contractor, you want them to be straightforward about diagnosing the problem rather than trying to impress you with a bunch of confusing industry terms. Everything was explained in simple terms, the price was fair compared to other companies, and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. That's all you really want when something breaks at your house. Replacing your HVAC system is probably the biggest purchase you'll make besides buying a house or car, but I am very confident I made the right decision thanks to Tyler's in-depth breakdown. Tommy came out to our house for an emergency electrical issue and diagnosed and fixed the problem promptly. He was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Having the membership with Cornerstone is worth it for the peace of mind that comes with knowing they will get someone out to you the day of if you need it (for an additional fee, of course). We used Cornerstone for a plumbing project also. Dave was extremely personable and did an excellent job. You can tell that he cares about his work. In addition to the other two jobs listed, I used Jason in electrical to install a ceiling fan and new outlets throughout. Extremely personable and professional! We had a nice chat about WWE. Jorge and Ashley from the handyman portion of Cornerstone came out to work on fixing a ceiling that had some water damage. They replaced the drywall and made a seamless transition to the existing ceiling and were able to match the texture perfectly! My toddler loved them both—big smiles whenever they walked through the door. Lots of positive energy. All of my experiences with Cornerstone have been excellent. My wife and I were exceptionally happy with electricians Tom and Reyna from Cornerstone. We've used them for a number of jobs already and have them booked for a number more. We request them specifically for just how professional, quick, and neat they are. First thing they always do is go over everything to make sure we understand completely what materials may be needed, how long the job may take, any and all possible outcomes we may or may not run into, etc. And my wife's favorite thing is they're never too busy to answer any and all questions we may have before, during, or after the job. Their workmanship is ALWAYS 100% spot on, plus they're neat and professional, before, during, and after the job's complete. My wife and I could not be happier (or luckier) finding Cornerstone and having Tom and Reyna as our electricians. We've had so-called "professionals" in the past do work for us, and not only did we waste a lot of money, but we were just about always left with a "meh, it's alright," or a "It's good enough, I guess" finished product. Once you've had actual professionals like Tom and Reyna doing the work though, that's when you really see that vision in your head come to fruition! When it comes to home repairs, especially in this economy, I would, and have, recommend them to anyone looking to get their money's worth, and also be extremely satisfied with the project outcome they paid for!

I called today for an electrical problem and they had scheduled me for an appointment tomorrow, which was awesome. A little while later I got a phone call and they had finished a job early and were able to come right now, and since I work from home it was perfect timing. Mitch came on very short notice (next day) and looked at the water heater we just had installed less than two years ago from Denommee Plumbing. He was able to call the manufacturer of the water heater and send text pictures and got approval to replace parts (no cost for parts) and for $507.60 labor. When I called Denommee (Lowe's suggested installers) they said I would have to pay full price for a reinstall ($2,740) and when they got approval from the manufacturer they would refund me the cost of the water heater, $539. But there could be a processing fee. I would still have been out $2,201 for them to put a new fixture in. Moral of the story… this family will only use Cornerstone Plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling. They are honest and understand customer service. I will be contacting Lowe's as well since the customer service person at Denommee said, “We do this all the time, it’s legal and approved by Lowe’s.” I’ll confirm that and, if true, it’s Home Depot for us from now on!

I had a previous electrician who never answered my calls for roof wires he installed. So, I looked up electrical services on the internet and found Cornerstone Electrical. The receptionist at the office was very nice and sympathetic about my problem. She had sent Daniel and his assistant a few hours later. They were prompt and very professional. He diagnosed my problem and the electrical box, and suggested I may need a new electrical box to replace the existing one. Previous electricians have said the same thing. The box is approximately 40 years old. I discussed with my husband and he also agreed to have this done. An appointment was made for 4 days later to replace the old box. So happy they will do the work. The price was reasonable and close to what my estimates were. Can't wait to check this off my to-do list. Dan was very knowledgeable and fully explained the benefits of replacing the old box. Four days later, the new electrical box is installed and I am so happy. I was made aware of Cornerstone Electric via a community Facebook page and am so grateful for the find and for this company! For starters, the administrative team is warm, communicative, and diligent, and their professionals (read: experts in the field) are as quality as they come! We’ve been fortunate enough to have electrical services via master electrician Tom O. since day 1, who’s not only personable, knowledgeable, and innovative, but utterly gifted in his trade, and has done nothing short of incredible work on our light fixture installations and repairs (in our 100-year-old house with old electrical wiring, no less), antique light fixture rewiring, and on hiding TV cables behind walls, etc. He most recently supported a complicated rewiring of an old antique fixture - with a very unattractive chain and dangerous wiring situation - and went above and beyond to make a once heinous looking fixture into a beautiful statement piece in our entryway, braving a 14-foot ladder and a very narrow and steep space, and all without any complaints nor challenges that he couldn’t mastermind. His knowledge and skill in all things electrical is immense, and the fact that he takes pride in his work and cares about the quality of said work makes him the best electrician we’ve encountered, and we can’t recommend him enough. Brandon A. is another brilliant, patient, and gifted electrician who’s incredibly talented as well, and although I can’t speak to all of the electricians at Cornerstone, if the rest are anything like Tom and Brandon then I can safely say that you’re in the best hands! We also utilized their HVAC services and Jacob and Warren were both honest, patient, highly knowledgeable, and equally gifted as well! Jacob and Warren are both very clearly skilled in all things HVAC and - unlike other HVAC professionals from other companies that we’ve used in the past - seek to truly help their clients, caring about their safety, their wallets, and the quality of their air and heating and cooling systems. Jacob spent ample time explaining options to me and answered my barrage of questions without flinching and with professionalism and care, and the experience was night-and-day from that of our services with our last HVAC company. I really can’t recommend Cornerstone enough, and if you’re looking for quality work, reasonable prices, and expert professionals, this is *the* place. 10/10 recommend and so happy to have found them!

Jacob did a fantastic job at educating me on what he was doing and what I should look for in the future (this was extremely important to me). I also noticed Jacob educating his trainee, Warren. During the last storm I had lost power on Dec 23, which was expected. What was not expected was that I happened to check the sub panel to see if anything had tripped. Much to my chagrin, I found that many of the breakers were wet! I discovered that water was leaking from the power meter, through the conduits and into the panel! Not wanting power to come back on and cause a fire or some other disaster, I managed to reach Cornerstone and Paul was able to come over within a few hours, which was great since it was just before Christmas and we were at the tail end of a huge storm. He checked over everything for damage and, thankfully, it looked like a recent issue as there was no corrosion. He then gave me my options to let things dry out and if nothing tripped (when power came back) I was good, or if I wanted to replace the whole panel if breakers (especially the 200 amp main) kept tripping. I opted to go the path of running the generator with the main off, popping out each breaker and drying them off, and ended up replacing two GFCI breakers that were completely soaked, but everything else has been good since. A huge thanks to Paul for coming on such short notice, well worth the emergency fee for peace of mind.

Great service from Cornerstone Electrical Services. Repaired outlets in my bathroom after several other companies had done before but no success. Finally fixed for good!! Thank you, Cornerstone. Quality work, reasonable pricing. 8/24/22 Second time using Cornerstone; our serviceman was John Clark. This man worked alone for hours removing and replacing the outside power meter for the entire home at my mom's. This job needed to be coordinated with Liberty Utilities. Cornerstone (John) came early to prep, and Liberty Utilities was not holding up their part of the coordinated time slot. With my mom in mind, John insisted they come immediately as scheduled, and they arrived after his call but late, holding up John’s job start time. Cornerstone was notified that we needed a generator for my mom's oxygen while our power was disconnected for over 8 hours. John set up the generator and helped me connect the basics, oxygen and cell phones, because landline would be off, which were required for my mom to receive any medical calls, which she did. She’s 89 years old, just home from heart surgery. He also connected fans considering the hot and humid day we had. We worked together as a team all day. John worked tirelessly in the heat, never once complained or stopped the whole day, notifying me each time the generator was going off for more gas to be added so I could adjust my mom's oxygen situation. John was given the same treatment by myself, making sure he stayed hydrated, and I gave him a bowl of cold water with a cloth to keep him as cool as possible. In order to do this job, he also had to trim a bush for clearance, which was required to pass inspection. He cut and removed the branches for me. Again, he was alone when clearing the branches, so I helped out as much as I could since I’m 66 years old. He turned on the power, but there was a problem: some rooms were not connected. He got right on it, made calls, and solved all issues. Polite, respectful, attentive to my mom's needs, he did not disappoint whatsoever!! Cornerstone should be very proud of John; he is a high-quality employee. Before he left, he checked with the office about the financing payment card, and he was done for the day. I couldn’t say enough about John’s work on this hot and humid day. I really felt for him; this was a two-man job. Thank you so much, John, from the bottom of our hearts. Cornerstone, please take good care of John.

It may have been on the higher side, but for the peace of mind that there’s a whole company you’re working with, as well as the other services they provide by signing up for their yearly service, and mostly the quality of work, it’s well worth it. Both Jeremy and John Clark were extremely professional. They explained everything they were doing prior to fixing the many non-compliant electrical work another electrician had done. They also found other potential fire issues that I was unaware of from the other electrician (who ended up not being licensed) that were found down in the crawl space, and more issues buried behind the electrical panel. Their attention to detail was much appreciated!!! Would highly recommend and use again if needed!
